The Coffee Dates initially started off as a 2 piece acoustic duo with Joshua and Shawn, with the intent to play tunes at the university bar. They eventually formed The Coffee Dates, later adding Michael on bass. The Coffee Dates like to think of themselves as a groovy, grungy, love rock power trio. With Josh on an everlasting quest to find a definite signature sound with his vast array of guitar pedals and interesting lyrics, Michael fuzzing the bass to a whole new level and Shawn’s eclectic pocket drumming style, The Coffee Dates aim to bring laid back music to your ear drums.
